My name is Tony Hickson. Now in my eighties, I’ve been a workaholic for over seventy years. Starting life in the Hull workhouse as a bastard, I succeeded, by intense, sustained physical and mental effort rather than superior brainpower, becoming a millionaire in a highly successful pickle business before the age of sixty. By this time I was exhausted mentally and disabled, physically the patient of a Harley Street physician, Sir John Nabarro and neurologist, Dr Peter Harvey. I needed spinal surgery and had to retire, but I’d earned enough to protect my family and blood relatives for life. Peter Barlow and Anthony J.Sleight, from the York area, aided by acquisitive associates, changed that happy situation by relieving me of some one and a half million pounds. I am now a severe cripple, needing financial aid. Both men held positions of trust; Barlow a financial advisor and Sleight
a bankruptcy trustee and as such, an Officer of the Court.
Their amoral actions were assisted considerably by an
anomalous legal system which protects such avaricious opportunists; in
particular greedy, conscienceless
lawyers and corrupt Officers of the
Court. There
is something rotten about the British judicial system of which most people are
unaware. I publish my experience in the hope that it may help others from falling into the same trap by trusting everyone at first sight, especially those who should be beyond reproach. Read about this almost unbelievable account in the shortened
version, ‘Hickson Robbed’
or in a full account, ‘The Whole Barlow / Sleight Story.’
